Faeces and Waste, Defecate and Dispose.

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

Rectum basically serves as a warehouse for poop. The approximately eight inch length section allows your body waste to be stored in a sufficiently large amount before the process of defecation starts. Basically, this allow us to continue our daily job without having to go to toilet every 5 mins to expel few miligrams of poop each time.

Same goes to our daily waste, in which we store in a bin/container/bags till a sufficient amount gathered, before we decided to dispose it all at once. Imagine you would have to walk to the incinerator plant everytime you have rubbish in your hand? Why not just store first, collect the right amount, before heading there.

So, it isn’t hard to say, poop and rubbish are related. Just as our rectum and wastebin.

Other relations:

-Production of smells / unpleasant odour
-Needed to be compacted for better disposal purpose.
-Produced by human and animal.
-You wouldn’t wanna rub it all over your face.

Rectal Temperature: An Insight of Better Diagnosis from the Internal/Hidden Area

Thursday, January 5th, 2006

There are various points in our body which are available for temperature measurement. Most doctors would choose to use a mercury thermometer to be place under the tongue of a patient; or digital thermometer on the forehead. The accuracy underlined in this diagnosis is not as accurate as having a thermometer placed into the internal wall of rectum.

This accuracy is due to the heat retention in this internal area; where the interior sphincter closed the gap of anus and reduce heat expulsion. Whereas, forehead and mouth are constant exposed to outer environment.

Analogous to this, everything that human inspect, are least accurate from the exterior. From the surface of every situation, once can claim many facts. Just like once said "Don’t judge a book from its cover". Hence, read it. Inspect situation from the interior, the inside, where the truth is hidden.
